Tomb-raiding Julia has been searching for the legendary Seven Idols for many years when she finally finds the entrance to the underground cave containing the first of them; only to find fellow adventurer Sam and her guide K have beaten her there! However, though both Julia and Sam soon get to experience the muscle-imbuing power of the idol first-hand, they also realise its resting place hides more surprises – and dangers – than they’d counted on!

This story has a very promising start, and a nice plot that got to the point very quickly…I like the direction of the story while maintaining the air of mystery and mysticism….
Reread the comic and was very impressed with the “WOOSH” panel where Julia dodges the arrow. It was very well portrayed using digital art.
The way Sam sets Julia up to use the idol to find out if it truly worked, was very slick. As well as the brewing conflict between them. I’m eager to see what happens next…
